As an Application Support Engineer based on either East Coast or Central timezone, you will help our customers solve complex technical issues related to Instruqt.


As an support engineer, this role will help you identify and develop your technical, professional, and personal skills for a successful career at Instruqt. In short, it is a combination of practical experience and formal training in an international work environment that fosters and rewards cooperation, teamwork, learning, and fun.

Job requirements

You will support our global customers to be successful in using Instruqt. As part of this, you will be resolving in-depth and complex customer-reported issues in a wide area of domains, applications, and industries – including the latest technology trends.


The key to success is collaboration and teamwork with other engineers, specialists, and domain experts in the global Instruqt organization. In addition to your technical and troubleshooting skills, an important aspect of this role is communication with internal and external parties.

Your direct contact with customers will be very valuable for providing user feedback to our Development organization. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our products by sharing these use cases with Product Development teams. Understanding how our customers are using Instruqt will give you a strong foundation in our business and technologies enabling you to grow your career within Instruqt.


Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master’s degree, or equivalent experience) are required.

  • Experience in working with API / Webhooks
  • Experience using AWS, preferably supported it. (any AWS certification is a huge plus)
  • Experience scripting (shell, python)
  • Linux command line experience, ideally have installed and built linux servers with automation tools
  • End-user familiarity with Kubernetes - Example: know how to run kubectl and maybe deploy a helm chart
  • Experience with Cloud / Container applications
  • Excellent English language skills are required (written and verbal)
